With a workforce of more than 750 people, the SIS Group (Fire and Rescue Service) intervenes to save lives by placing victims at the centre of its concerns at all times.
The Service's workforce consists of professional firefighters, paramedics, and alarm and deployment centre operators; it also includes staff responsible for administrative, technical, and logistical tasks who contribute through their support to the excellence of rescue operations.
To complete its team, the SIS Group is looking for an individual for its Human Resources Management Unit:
HR Assistant at 100%
Your mission and your responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the Head of the HR Unit, you predominantly perform tasks related to the administrative management of SIS Group personnel and follow up on files in accordance with current standards. You provide administrative support in recruitment processes, create and complete appointment or engagement files for new employees. You ensure administrative follow-up and updates related to the personnel life cycle and participate in drafting and finalising all related administrative documents. With the support of an HR administrative colleague, you manage email inboxes and update the HR Unit's tracking tables.
You respond to routine HR requests from employees and/or management or direct them to the appropriate contacts for information. You participate in specific projects within your area of activity.
Your profile:
You hold a certificate in personnel management and have 2 to 5 years of experience in the HR field. Previous experience in recruitment, within a Geneva public institution and/or in project management is an asset. You have good interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating with staff. You are sensitive to the confidentiality of the information you handle and demonstrate discretion. You enjoy working both in a team and independently and have a good command of IT tools. Your writing skills are proven. Organised, precise, and rigorous in task completion, you have a sense of priorities and are solution- and quality-oriented to ensure the expected result.
You reside in the canton of Geneva or in the authorised residential area.
