Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibility for architecture, implementation, and operation of complex, highly available network security solutions
Conceptualisation, design, and implementation of firewall and LAN environments in IT and OT contexts
Planning and realisation of security solutions for customer projects in the area of critical communication infrastructures
Support and further development of security platforms as platform manager
Conducting training and knowledge transfer for internal staff
Analysis and resolution of incidents as well as taking over the 2nd-level on-call service
Support in pre-sales for technical security topics
Qualifications:
Higher technical education with a diploma in telecommunications or computer science and several years of professional experience focusing on IT security
Experience in conceptualising, implementing, and operating network security solutions
Solid knowledge in firewalling, routing, switching, IDS/IPS, and PAM; relevant certifications are an advantage
Knowledge of security requirements in process control technology
Interest and willingness for further development in additional security topics
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
