Team Leader - Large Parts Warehouse

At our headquarters, we operate a highly automated intralogistics centre, where over 70,000 items are stored and up to 3,000 customer orders are picked and processed daily. As a trading company in the technical wholesale sector for carpenters, wood, glass and metal builders, as well as schools and resellers, we offer our customers a broad and deep range of furniture and kitchen fittings, door and building fittings, as well as machines and tools.

Your task:

You will take on the professional and personnel management of a team of 18 employees. Together, you ensure an efficient, safe and high-quality picking and packing process in our fully automated high-bay warehouse with 8,000 pallet spaces. An important focus of your role is the leadership, promotion and development of your employees. You create the conditions for successful collaboration, recognise potential and support your team in their professional and personal development.

In addition to operational responsibility, you view logistics holistically, think beyond departmental boundaries and continuously develop our processes together with adjacent departments. In doing so, you identify optimisation potential and implement targeted improvements.

You bring with you:

• Training as a logistics specialist with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) and further training as a logistics expert
• Several years of leadership experience in an automated logistics environment
• Sound knowledge of intralogistics
• Strong leadership, communication and social skills
• Enjoyment in promoting, developing employees and achieving success together
• Holistic process understanding as well as cross-departmental thinking and acting
• High quality and safety awareness
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Flexibility regarding alternating working hours
• Independent, reliable and resilient personality with a strong service orientation
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
