Taxation Service (SCCO)
The SCCO, which has around 150 employees, brings together entities responsible for taxing and collecting various taxes. The legal entity of the service has the main mission of providing legal support to all entities of the service. It also prepares observations within the framework of appeal procedures before the courts. It handles exemption and liability procedures. It drafts bills and regulations relating to cantonal tax legislation.
Your tasks
As a legal officer within the Taxation Service, your main task is to provide legal support in handling tax files (assessment, collection, tax remission, exemption, avoidance) and during litigation procedures.
You independently draft observations for the Cantonal Court and the Federal Court, as well as appeals to the Federal Court.
You support your legal manager and the head of the service in the development of bills, consultations and legal opinions. You participate in the development of internal directives and contribute to the training of the service staff.
On a daily basis, you maintain contacts with taxpayers, representatives and various tax authorities.
Your profile
Holding a master’s degree in law, you have at least three years’ experience in a sector related to the role. You possess very good knowledge of taxation and some accounting skills.
Your perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and your strong interpersonal skills are undeniable assets for the position.
You know how to work independently, show initiative and also have a high resistance to stress.
Good knowledge of German would be an advantage.
