Project Manager Civil Engineering (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 95,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as a Junior Project Manager: Civil Engineering & Infrastructure for the planning and realisation of diverse municipal construction projects. You will work on projects in civil and road construction, urban drainage and water supply and additionally contribute to tasks in watercourse construction. Depending on experience, you will gradually take on your own project responsibility and accompany the projects from concept development through planning and tendering to execution. The position offers a broad engineering field of activity with close contact to municipalities, authorities, specialist planners and executing companies.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration and gradual independent project management in municipal civil and infrastructure construction
Planning and design of road, development and utility line projects
Handling projects in urban drainage and sewerage
Planning and coordination of facilities and pipeline networks for water supply
Participation in projects in watercourse construction, flood protection and watercourse revitalisation
Development of variant studies, technical concepts and project bases
Creation and coordination of project, tender and execution documents
Support with tendering, offer comparisons and contractor awards
Assistance with cost estimations, scheduling and project controlling
Technical supervision of construction execution as well as acceptance and commissioning
Coordination with municipalities, authorities, utility owners, specialist planners and companies
Project processing taking into account the relevant SIA standards and Swiss civil engineering standards
Qualifications:
Technical construction education or further training at EFZ, HF or FH level in civil engineering, construction planning or civil engineering
Knowledge in civil and road construction as well as urban drainage
Expertise in water supply and utility line construction
Initial experience in planning, tendering or construction execution is an advantage
Knowledge in watercourse construction is an advantage
Good knowledge of relevant Swiss standards and municipal planning processes
Good German language skills spoken and written
