Architect as Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual for the independent project management and planning of demanding new build and renovation projects in building construction. You will lead projects from the initial project idea through preliminary design, construction design and building permit procedures, taking responsibility for planning, coordination, schedules and quality. A particular focus is on residential construction and existing buildings as well as the confident handling of complex building law issues according to Swiss regulations and relevant SIA standards. You will coordinate internal project teams, external specialist planners and authorities and represent the projects professionally to the client.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and planning of new build and renovation projects with a focus on residential construction and existing buildings
Development and management of preliminary designs, construction designs and permit projects
Management of projects along the relevant SIA phases up to the legally binding building permit
Leadership and coordination of internal project teams, specialist planners and experts
Independent analysis and handling of building law and planning law issues
Ensuring compliance with Swiss building legislation, official requirements and relevant SIA standards
Conducting clarifications and coordinating with building authorities, specialist offices and other permitting bodies
Responsibility for project organisation, planning processes, schedules and planning quality
Coordination and quality assurance of plans, concepts, verifications and project documents
Preparation and leadership of project, planning and coordination meetings
Professional liaison with clients, authorities, specialist planners and other project participants
Early identification of planning, structural and building law project risks and development of suitable solution options
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree ETH/FH or comparable recognised qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in architectural project management in the Swiss market
Solid experience in the planning of new build, renovation and existing projects, ideally in residential construction
Very good knowledge of Swiss building and planning law, building permit procedures and relevant SIA standards
Very good structural and technical understanding as well as experience in leading interdisciplinary planning teams
Very good user skills in ArchiCAD
Very good German language skills spoken and written
