Strategic Project Buyer (a) 100%
As a Strategic Project Buyer, you are responsible within the framework of development projects (IPD) for providing all purchasing items necessary for new product developments, for procurement and supplier concepts including supply chain risk analysis. This particularly includes the following activities:
- Evaluation of suppliers within the framework of development projects and responsibility for supplier decisions within the projects using the provided tools for supply chain and risk assessments
- Responsibility for the qualitative, cost-related and timely provision of procurement items during the project
- Preparation of procurement and risk analyses for the purchasing items
- Ensuring interfaces with the lead buyers and plant purchasing including handing over supplier responsibility to the operational purchasing organisation of the plants
- Procurement item tenders including negotiations with national and international suppliers and drafting contracts together with lead buying
You have completed training in mechanical engineering and/or engineering with further education in business administration. Furthermore, you are characterised by the following points:
- Several years of experience as a strategic buyer or project buyer
- Technical training and further education advantageous
- Experience in project management or project-oriented work
- Very good German and English skills (Level C1) spoken and written
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- High resilience and strong communication skills
- Dynamic, assertive personality with high social and negotiation competence
