Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Civil Engineer Structural Planning / Structural Engineering to work on demanding building and civil engineering projects. You will develop economical and technically convincing structural solutions from the early feasibility phase to realisation. In addition to structural calculations and constructive planning, you will increasingly take responsibility for project coordination, decision-making bases, as well as cost, schedule and quality control. The position offers an interdisciplinary environment with room for modern planning methods and digitalisation.
Responsibilities:
Handling of structural projects in building and civil engineering
Development of structural concepts from feasibility and variant studies
Execution of structural calculations, dimensioning and verifications
Constructive processing of structures in concrete, steel and other materials
Preparation of technical reports, variant comparisons and decision-making bases
Development of economical and feasible structural and construction solutions
Organisation, preparation and participation in project and coordination meetings
Collaboration with clients, architects, authorities and external specialist planners
Coordination of interfaces between structure, architecture and other disciplines
Responsibility for schedule, cost and quality controlling within the projects managed
Support with tender and execution documents
Application and further development of digital planning and calculation methods
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Civil Engineer BSc FH, MSc ETH or comparable higher education
Solid expertise in general and structural engineering
Good knowledge of structural analysis, statics and constructive dimensioning
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction practice is an advantage
Experience with industry-standard structural, calculation and planning tools
Interest in BIM, digitalisation and new planning methods
German language skills at least at level B2
