Senior Development Engineer – Electronics
At our business centre in Liebefeld-Bern, we develop innovative high-tech products. A key focus lies on measurement technology, optical sensors, microtechnology, and actuators. We work on technologically demanding and interdisciplinary systems for medical and industrial applications. We support our national and international customers in innovation projects and accompany development projects from the initial idea through design and conception to industrialisation. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a dynamic individual with many years of experience in the development of series-ready electronics.
Area of Responsibility
You will develop innovative high-tech products for globally leading companies, SMEs, and start-ups in medical technology and industry. After thorough introduction to our development systematics and project management methodology, you will independently accompany customer projects as a Senior Development Engineer from the idea phase to industrialisation.
Within the project team, you will work interdisciplinarily with colleagues, engineers from other specialist teams, and our customers. You will be the central contact person for technical topics and issues related to electronics development.
Requirements
As a Bachelor or Master in Electrical and Information Engineering or with an equivalent qualification, you have several years of experience in electronics, especially in the development of series-ready electronic devices and instruments. Experience in medical technology is an advantage. Furthermore, you speak fluent German and English.
In addition, you convince with the following background:
- Experience in the development and realisation of electronic circuits and assemblies, including analogue and digital electronics
- Experience in the industrialisation of electronic circuits, especially EMC-compliant design and certification
- Experience in practical work in the electronics laboratory and EMC chamber
- Experience in collaboration with interdisciplinary development teams from electronics, mechanics, software, and optics
- Knowledge in applied high-frequency technology
- Ideally, experience in the development of integrated and miniaturised products with wireless communication and wireless power transfer
- Ideally, experience in design and implementation of digital circuits on FPGA
