Security Engineer (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client in the public sector in Lausanne, we are looking for a Security Engineer (m/f/d) to support the Cybersecurity Manager in operational activities, IT and business projects, as well as in the continuous improvement of the security system.
Your mission
- Support the Cybersecurity Manager in RUN and BUILD activities, independently handling operational topics and proposing areas for improvement.
- Ensure monitoring of vulnerabilities, security incidents and remediation plans, and contribute to the definition and implementation of future vulnerability management systems.
- Participate in security transformation projects, from study and recommendation phases to implementation and evolution of the chosen solutions.
- Contribute to cybersecurity governance, risk management, audits, compliance controls, as well as topics related to data protection and management.
- Maintain and develop security systems, monitor actions, indicators and dashboards, and contribute to documentation, procedures and employee awareness.
Your profile
- Higher education in computer science, cybersecurity, systems and networks or equivalent field, with at least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Essential mastery of Microsoft Defender and practical experience in implementing, operating and evolving security solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Strong skills in operational cybersecurity, with a good understanding of infrastructures, systems and ideally network environments; knowledge of Fortinet is a significant advantage.
- Appreciated knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, JAMF, Windows Server, VMware and Meraki, especially regarding workstation security and identity and access management issues.
- Residence in Lausanne or surrounding areas.
