Project Manager Heating (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist for the project management of modern heating systems and renewable heat systems in a specialised installation and service company. You will independently plan, coordinate and realise heating projects from the initial customer enquiry to successful commissioning. The focus is on sustainable heat solutions with heat pumps, wood heating, solar thermal and district heating connections as well as technical advice for builders and customers. The position combines heating technology, project management and renewable energies with the opportunity to actively further develop digital processes and innovative services.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of heating and heat generation systems from customer enquiry through technical planning to installation, commissioning and project handover

• Planning and realisation of modern heating systems with a focus on heat pumps, wood combustion, solar thermal and district heating connections

• Technical advice to private and business customers on the selection of energy-efficient and economical heat generation systems

• Development of heating and energy concepts including system comparisons, variant studies and assessment of suitable renewable energy sources

• Carrying out heating technical calculations and dimensioning including heat load calculations, hydraulic design and selection of suitable system components

• Coordination of heating installers, installation teams, energy consultants, suppliers and external partner companies throughout the entire project execution

• Responsibility for schedule, cost and quality management including project budgeting, material disposition and ongoing monitoring of project progress

• Support of sales in technical clarifications and quotation preparation as well as creation of technical basics and project-specific solution proposals

• Organisation and supervision of installation and assembly work including site coordination, execution controls and technical quality assurance

• Accompaniment of commissioning and functional tests including hydraulic balancing, system optimisation and technical acceptance

• Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards and energy regulations as well as consideration of cantonal requirements and applicable funding conditions

• Participation in the digitalisation and optimisation of internal project processes as well as further development of digital planning, documentation and service platforms

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner: heating EFZ or heating installer EFZ, ideally with further training as a technician HF building services, heating master or comparable qualification

• Initial to several years of professional experience in the planning, project design or realisation of heating systems, preferably with independent project responsibility

• Knowledge of modern heat generation systems, especially heat pumps, wood heating, solar thermal and district heating technology

• Expertise in heat load calculation, hydraulic dimensioning, heating distribution and control technology as well as in the selection of heating system components

• Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and energy regulations, especially SIA 384/1 and SIA 384/2, as well as requirements for energy-efficient heat generation

• Experience in technical project execution, quotation processing, installation coordination and cost control as well as confident use of MS Office and digital project management systems

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for customer advice, technical documentation and project coordination
