An establishment employing around 450 collaborators to ensure the specialised schooling of 27 children and adolescents as well as the socio-educational and socio-professional support of 127 adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking, for a role as educator,
Educators / ASE / ASSC, 70% to 100%
Your mission:
Within the context of a brand new specialised reception project for young adults with ASD in complex situations, your mission will be to provide support within a multidisciplinary team in transitional microstructures.
As part of your duties, you will be involved in welcoming beneficiaries, conducting observations and skills assessments using recognised tools, developing learning, managing and creating life projects according to the needs of residents while working closely with various networks.
We are looking for:
Training at CFC, ES or HES level in the socio-educational field or deemed equivalent, or ASSC with proven experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities or mental disorders
Experience and/or interest in engaging in the development and implementation of personalised projects, focused on significant multidisciplinary collaboration, both within the institution and with network partners, notably the teams of the Developmental Mental Health Psychiatry Section (SPDM - CHUV)
- Skills in supporting ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area
Availability, adaptability, patience, empathy and a strong sense of responsibility
- A reassuring and calm attitude, punctuality
- Stress resistance related to crisis management
- Good knowledge of common IT tools
- Good command of written and spoken French
- Some flexibility in working hours
- Driving licence
- Clean criminal record
