Linux & Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the stable operation of the Linux server landscape including monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting in the network area
Securing systems through security concepts, ongoing log monitoring and vulnerability scans
Management and optimisation of KVM-based virtualisation environments as well as automation of routine tasks using shell or Python scripts
Cooperation with internal departments and external partners to further develop the infrastructure and evaluate new hardware and software solutions
Qualifications:
IT training or equivalent professional experience in operating Linux systems, network administration and IT security
Solid knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPN technologies, Linux services as well as the use of intrusion detection systems
Practical experience in automation through scripting (e.g. Bash, Python), virtualisation with KVM and common open-source tools
Team player with an analytical, solution-oriented mindset, initiative and very good German language skills
