Main responsibilities:
Short-term Debt Management
- Lead the renewal and negotiation of short-term credit facilities for all downstream activities, working closely with local Finance and Treasury teams, as well as Legal departments (local and Geneva-based).
- Review and negotiate term sheets and legal documents with the support of the legal department when necessary.
Cash Management
- Monitor and analyze global cash positions; prepare and deliver weekly cash reports with actionable insights.
- Challenge affiliates on their cash positions and short-term debt strategies to drive improvements.
- Develop and enhance cash reports in Kyriba (Treasury Software) and forecasting tools to support better decision-making.
- Maintain and update the bank accounts and authorized signatories list.
- Work cross-functionally to streamline banking relationships, support initial drawdowns (CPs/Subsequent), e-banking platforms, and manage related legal fees.
Support investment decision-making and long-term debt raising
- Prepare impactful business presentations for banks, management committees, and board-level stakeholders.
- Draft teasers and term sheets for strategic projects with high financial and operational stakes.
- Review Project Agreements (PA) and assess debt capacity and covenant compliance.
- Organize and support meetings with banking partners, becoming a key facilitator of strategic dialogue.
Addax Energy SA and Other Suppliers Invoices Follow-Up
- Create and analyze weekly AESA Trade reports; propose action plans based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with affiliates and Trade Finance to ensure timely and accurate processing of trade and non-trade invoices.
- Design and implement efficient operational tools in partnership with key stakeholders.
