About the job

Tasks

• You plan and lead projects for the construction, overhaul, and modernisation of test benches for combustion engines as well as for hydraulic and aviation components (from conception to acceptance) in collaboration with the production and development departments
• You determine the requirements and create preliminary designs as well as specifications
• You monitor the realisation and commissioning phases
• You work with other internal departments as well as with suppliers and find innovative solutions to optimise the start-up phase
• You provide support for maintenance work and its preparation

Qualifications

• You have professional experience in the commissioning of production facilities, ideally of engine or engine component test benches
• Ideally, you have project experience and possess sound knowledge in the field of combustion engine technology and/or hydraulics
• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or process engineering, alternatively training as a master craftsman or technician with relevant experience in the construction and operation of engine or engine component test benches
• You have very good knowledge of Windows operating systems as well as MS Office applications
• You have good language skills in German and English; French would be an advantage
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner and have good analytical skills
• You like to take initiative, are innovative and customer-oriented, and have a high level of commitment and team spirit
