You enjoy working precisely and want to be active in the field of high voltage and power cables? You can expect a varied role at the test bench with measurements, cable tests, assembly work, and technical preparations.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of power cables from 10-500 kV for tests according to drawings
Measurement and documentation of conductor and insulation resistances
Execution of DC sheath tests
Assembly of pulling loops and preparation of cables for shipping
Visual inspections and testing of silicone parts such as stress cones and joint bodies
Operation of overhead cranes with 32 t / 60 t floor control
Setup and dismantling of longitudinal water tightness tests
General test bench work as well as preparation and modification of test adapters
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship
Several years of professional experience in a production environment in the energy industry
Very careful and precise working style
Crane operator certificate advantageous
High flexibility and willingness to work two-shift operation
Enjoy working with people from different cultures and functions
Very good German language skills spoken and written
