Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d)

As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel, we are immediately seeking a motivated and committed Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering for a temporary assignment of 1 year, with the option to extend.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Operational engineering with the aim of ensuring production is maintained at all times
  continuous optimisation of process plants and evaluating, testing and recommending new technologies
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with internal and external employees and companies
• Independent work in automation projects in all project phases with responsibility for costs, deadlines, resources and technical solutions
• Support during audits and inspections by internal bodies and authorities in the area of GMP and HSE
• Ensuring 24/7 support as part of a 24/7 support team

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training or degree as a technician/engineer in the field of automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science or similar
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the automation environment, preferably with a pharmaceutical background
• Very good user knowledge in the area of Siemens PCS7, S7, TIA, WinCC automation software
• Solid experience in the GMP and GAMP environment
• Independence, initiative and integrity as well as a very high service orientation with a strong sense of duty
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required, English skills are an advantage

• High social competence, teamwork skills and very good communication and coordination skills, also in dealing with stakeholders and at all levels
• Enthusiasm as well as independent, customer-oriented working style
• Questioning conventional thinking patterns and openness to new, creative ideas - also outside familiar fields ("out of the box thinking")
• Ability to break down complex issues and communicate them to customers and stakeholders in an appropriate language
