An experienced professional is sought for a cloud-oriented IT service provider who operates and continuously optimises modern cloud and system landscapes. The technical environment includes Azure services, virtual workplaces, Microsoft 365 solutions, as well as security and automation technologies.
In addition to further developing the cloud platform, the responsibilities include supporting demanding support cases and managing the internal infrastructure. Depending on expertise, there is the opportunity to contribute additionally in the areas of container technologies, infrastructure as code, and other cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation, and administration of cloud and system infrastructures with a focus on Azure
Further development of Microsoft 365 environments, virtual desktops, and automated workplace solutions
Implementation of automation solutions for standardised provisioning and management of infrastructure
Participation in cloud-native projects with container technologies such as Kubernetes
Handling complex technical faults and supporting customer support at a higher support level
Operation and maintenance of the company’s own data centre environment
Carrying out planned maintenance work and participating in on-call duty
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science as well as several years of professional experience in system or cloud technology
Good knowledge of networks, cloud architectures, and Microsoft Azure
Experience with Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and client automation
Practical experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, virtual machines, and Windows Server
Basic knowledge of network security, firewalls, and protection of cloud environments
Experience with infrastructure as code or Kubernetes is an advantage
Additional knowledge in AWS, Google Cloud, Linux, Hyper-V, or terminal server technologies is desirable
Confident German language skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
Willingness to participate in maintenance windows and on-call duty
