Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager: Client Representation & Property Development for the holistic management of new build, renovation, and development projects in residential construction. You represent the owners' interests from the initial project idea through planning, approval, and realisation to commissioning, taking responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and economic efficiency. In addition to operational project management, you develop sustainable strategies for an existing property portfolio and assess investment and development potentials. A particular focus is on renovations in occupied conditions, long-term substance preservation, and economically viable property development.
Responsibilities:
Assuming the client representation for new build, conversion, and renovation projects in residential construction
Overall management of property projects from project idea and development to commissioning
Conducting and coordinating condition analyses, feasibility studies, and study assignments
Developing property, renovation, and investment strategies for the assigned property portfolio
Assessing plots and existing properties regarding space potential, investment needs, and economic development opportunities
Building and leading the project organisation with internal and external stakeholders
Mandating and managing architects, specialist planners, experts, as well as general and specialised contractors
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, and risk management
Managing approval procedures, tenders, submissions, and awards
Accompanying demanding renovations and refurbishments in occupied conditions
Preparing construction reports, cost forecasts, decision bases, and project documentation
Ensuring complete construction cost control and construction documentation until project completion
Qualifications:
Advanced technical education, for example technician HF, architect FH/ETH, civil engineer FH/ETH or further training in construction/project management
Several years of experience in client representation, construction management, or property project management
Solid experience with new builds and renovations, ideally in residential construction and occupied conditions
Knowledge in property development, construction cost, schedule, and quality management
Experience with tenders, awards, approval procedures, and external planning teams
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and fluent German
Driving licence category B
