Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a versatile professional as a Architect / HF Technician in Structural Engineering for the planning and realisation of varied new build and renovation projects. The focus is on design, execution planning and constructive detailing as well as – depending on your experience – on tendering and site management of smaller to medium-sized construction projects. Particularly interesting are projects in building refurbishment, protected buildings and agricultural zones, which require sound constructive understanding and careful handling of existing building fabric. The role offers a broad range of tasks across several SIA phases and development opportunities towards project and site management.
Responsibilities:
Processing of design, project and execution planning for new build, renovation and refurbishment projects
Development of technically and aesthetically convincing construction and detail solutions taking into account the existing building fabric
Planning and project design of renovations and refurbishments of existing buildings, partly on protected buildings and buildings in agricultural zones
Creation and coordination of execution, detail and working drawings as well as coordination with specialist planners and contractors
Handling of relevant SIA project phases from project design to realisation
Preparation of tenders and specifications as well as obtaining and comparing contractor offers
Taking over site management for smaller and medium-sized projects including execution control, acceptance and defect management
Responsibility for schedule and cost planning as well as ongoing monitoring of project budgets and construction progress
Coordination with clients, authorities, specialist planners and executing companies
Support with building submissions and approval procedures, especially for demanding renovation and existing building projects
Professional supervision of EFZ draftsmen in training in planning and project tasks
Qualifications:
Degree as FH Architect or certified HF Technician in Construction Planning / Architecture
Practical experience in Swiss execution planning, at least at the level of EFZ draftsman specialising in architecture
Sound knowledge of building construction, detail planning and Swiss construction practice
Experience with renovations, refurbishments and building refurbishment is an advantage
Knowledge of tendering, site management, cost and schedule planning or interest in developing these skills
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards as well as Swiss building and approval procedures
Very good German language skills for planning, project coordination and technical documentation
