Machine Operator for Track Construction Machines (m/f/d)
Your Job
- Perform various positions within the team on our track construction machines
- Reliable collaboration within the machine crew
- Carry out maintenance work on machines in winter at the Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group maintenance locations
- Perform track maintenance work on railway facilities according to the railways' specifications
- Assist with maintenance and repair work on machines at construction sites
- Universally deployable, also assisting with tasks outside your actual work area in the spirit of polyvalence
- Adhere to quality and safety regulations on construction sites and in operations
- Careful handling and diligent maintenance of machines and work equipment
Your Profile
- Technical apprenticeship as a polymechanic/machine locksmith, agricultural machinery, truck or construction machinery mechanic, as well as electrician/electrical fitter and automation technician
- Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic units is an advantage
- Flexibility for day/night shifts during the summer months
- High sense of responsibility and safety awareness in the track area
- Physical resilience and accustomed to working outdoors
- Car driving licence and a vehicle for commuting to construction sites
- Reliability, strong commitment and team spirit
- Good knowledge of German
- Work locations throughout Switzerland
