Civil Engineer: Occupational Safety and Health 60 - 100 %

In our real estate department, you ensure that occupational safety and health are exemplarily implemented on Suva’s construction sites as the client. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to our role model status as an investor.

What you achieve

• You ensure that occupational safety and health are exemplary on Suva’s own construction sites.
• You review safety concepts, assess risks, and derive effective prevention measures.
• You coordinate collaboration with our external safety consultants across projects, analyse their reports, and are responsible for improvements internally and externally.
• You advise our construction project managers on all matters relating to occupational safety and health.
• As a member of the real estate department’s staff, you support Suva as a significant investor in the Swiss real estate market. You contribute to ensuring Suva’s services for the benefit of its insured persons and their pensions.

What you bring

• You hold a degree as a civil engineer or master builder. Additionally, you have the federal specialist certificate as a Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health (ASGS) or are willing to complete the training.
• You have several years of experience in the main construction trade.
• You possess a category B driving licence and your own vehicle and are willing to travel as part of your role.
• You communicate confidently in German; knowledge of French is an advantage.
