Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d).
Responsibilities:
- You monitor and ensure the stability of communication networks and resolve faults
- You take on the configuration, installation, and commissioning of communication equipment
- You are responsible for the construction and operation of communication networks and services
- You lead the further development of the core (MPLS) and access infrastructure (Cisco)
- You plan, document, and further develop the telecom infrastructure
- You manage the security and monitoring systems
- You actively participate in the on-call service
Qualifications:
- You have a solid basic education (at least HF level) in telecommunications, telematics, or computer science
- You bring many years of professional experience in network and fibre optic technology
- You hold relevant certifications such as CCNP
- You have experience with micro-segmentation, ideally with zero trust architectures and interfaces to peripheral systems
- You place great value on interaction with employees, customers, and suppliers
- You have excellent German and good English skills
- You hold a category B driving licence
- You will be assigned to the on-call service, so your place of residence should be in the canton of Thurgau or the surrounding area
