To complete our Process Engineering team in Biel, we are looking for a:
Process Engineer (F/M/X) 100%
Your mission
You are the technical reference during the industrialisation of new products and processes. You ensure the transition between development and production by guaranteeing robust, efficient processes that comply with the company’s quality requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Define and develop manufacturing and assembly processes for new products.
- Manage the industrialisation phases up to production launch.
- Write technical documentation (instructions, procedures) and conduct FMEA risk analyses.
- Qualify and validate production means and processes according to IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Define workstations, equipment, and tools necessary for assembly, and calculate production times.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary projects, including client meetings.
- Lead continuous improvement actions (quality, performance, costs) and ensure reporting Workplace: 2504 Biel (BE)
Your profile
- HES, EPF engineer or equivalent in microtechnology, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical industrial environment (microtechnology, precision mechanics, assembly).
- Proven experience in industrialising new products and project management, in high-precision manufacturing/assembly processes and equipment and process validation.
- Ability to link development, production, and clients, with clear communication to varied stakeholders.
- Influential leadership: managing multidisciplinary project teams and mobilising production teams without direct hierarchical authority.
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset, comfortable transmitting and training manufacturing teams on new processes.
- Autonomy, rigour, and organisational skills, managing several projects in parallel.
- Initiative and continuous improvement orientation.
Languages: Bilingual French/English (minimum B2), good knowledge of German is a real asset.
