Role:
You don’t just want to maintain pipelines but shape the platform behind them? As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you strategically expand a container environment based on Kubernetes and OpenShift. Automation, security, and clean release processes are in your hands. Your voice carries weight in technical fundamental questions. At the same time, you help other engineers to exceed themselves.
Responsibilities:
You drive the modernisation and standardisation of the DevOps toolchain and introduce new technologies after careful evaluation.
For build, test, and release, you design scalable processes and consistently rely on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) as well as GitOps.
You are responsible for the architecture and operation of the container platform and develop it purposefully.
Furthermore, you set guardrails for security, compliance, and governance and anchor them in the platform.
In critical incidents, you keep an overview, lead the technical analysis, and permanently eliminate causes.
Additionally, you advise development, architecture, and IT security and coach junior and professional engineers.
Qualifications:
You have several years of solid practical experience in platform engineering or the DevOps environment.
You know container platforms in depth, especially OpenShift and Kubernetes.
You work confidently with Git and tools such as Tekton, TeamCity, or ArgoCD and automate processes with ease.
Furthermore, you use registries like Harbor as proficiently as observability stacks, for example ELK or Sentry.
You translate complex requirements into pragmatic, secure, and scalable architectures.
Moreover, you lead technically with a clear stance, make well-founded decisions, and communicate knowledge understandably.
