Building Technician / Sanitary, Heating Installer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You take over the management and control of conversion and expansion projects in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitation, coordinate external specialists and work hand in hand with internal departments

• You are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of comfort and process ventilation systems, compressed air networks, fire protection systems including fire stations, fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems as well as wastewater and heat distribution systems, fuel and drinking water systems

• You organise inventory management and logistics, manage stocks such as filters, spare parts and tools and ensure order and cleanliness in the workshop and warehouse

• You maintain master data of the systems in the maintenance tool and create as well as update maintenance and inspection protocols

• You provide technical support for external locations, accompany external service providers and ideally support the training of apprentices in the field of building services engineering

• You carry out quality controls, including SVTI inspections as well as tests of safety valves, ladders and fall protection

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a sanitary installer EFZ (HVAC) or equivalent qualification in the field of building technology

• Solid professional experience in the maintenance, upkeep and project support of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems, ideally in an industrial or commercial environment

• Practical disposition with a pronounced hands-on mentality and versatile manual skills

• Familiarity with applicable safety regulations as well as routine handling of maintenance software and MS Office programmes

• Driving licence category B is mandatory; forklift licence and training for aerial work platforms are advantageous or willingness to attend corresponding training

• Interest in supervising apprentices as well as willingness to perform winter service on-call duties is desirable
