Key Account Manager Rail Technology (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you use your technical affinity and senior expertise to drive sales of high-quality electronic products and solutions in the rail and transport sector as a Key Account Manager Rail Construction. You are responsible for building, maintaining, and developing long-term customer relationships in your industry segment and positioning the solutions as sustainable added value. You identify market and technology trends early and derive targeted sales opportunities from them. You coordinate internal and external stakeholders to develop customised offers and successfully complete demanding projects. With your sales-oriented thinking and actions, you contribute significantly to sustainable business success in your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- You manage and develop customers from the rail and transport sector at strategic and operational levels
- In this role, you specifically address the market, acquire new customers, and expand existing customer relationships
- As a Key Account Manager Railway, you sell solutions focusing on rail technology and take on their project planning and conceptual design
- You are responsible for the support and coordination of national rail projects
- In this role, you provide technical advice to customers and accompany tenders from processing to completion
Qualifications:
- You have a technical basic education in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field and have business management training
- You convince as a customer- and solution-oriented sales personality with several years of sales experience, ideally in the rail and transport sector
- You work very independently, show strong initiative, and approach your tasks efficiently and goal-oriented
- You appear team-oriented and can score with your convincing presence
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills in spoken and written form
- You benefit from additional French language skills
