Senior Accountant (Trust Company)

You independently manage a varied portfolio of clients and support them with their accounting, payroll, and tax issues.
Permanent contract - 100% rate

Desired profile

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a Swiss trust company
• Higher education in the field = an asset
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and the Code of Obligations
• Good command of common IT tools, especially MS Office and accounting software
• Ability to work independently, rigorously and in a structured manner
• Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and a strong customer service orientation

• Maintain general accounting and prepare closings for a varied portfolio of clients
• Prepare and monitor VAT returns
• Manage clients’ payroll: monthly processing, social insurances and withholding tax
• Prepare tax declarations for individuals and legal entities
• Advise and support clients in their accounting and tax procedures
• Occasionally participate, as needed, in audit and review mandates
