Linux & Kubernetes Platform Engineer ?? (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You operate and develop the Linux servers with RHEL/SLES as well as Kubernetes on SUSE Rancher (RKE2)
Using Ansible, AWX and Infrastructure as Code, you automate and optimise platform operations
You manage CI/CD pipelines on Forgejo and provide technical support to application and developer teams
For stable 7x24 operation, you take on monitoring, 2nd level support, as well as updates and release changes
Additionally, you contribute to security, OS hardening and the management of accounts, certificates and secrets
Qualifications:
You have a technical education or equivalent professional experience
You bring solid knowledge in Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible, DevOps, IaC and CI/CD
Experience with platform security, networking and highly available systems is an advantage
Fluent written and spoken German (C2) and good English skills (B2), willingness for on-call duty is required
