Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist as a building services planner: heating/ventilation for an innovative consulting and planning environment with a focus on sustainable energy and building technology. You will take on the technical planning of demanding heating or ventilation systems and accompany diverse building services projects from concept development to realisation. The focus is on HVAC specialist planning, CAD planning, energy efficiency and decarbonisation of buildings, as well as the development of future-proof technical solutions. The position offers early project responsibility, short decision-making paths and attractive development opportunities in planning and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Building services planning HVAC: Independent handling of heating or ventilation projects across various planning and realisation phases.

• Concept and project planning: Development of technical system concepts, preliminary projects, construction projects and execution planning for energy-efficient building technology systems.

• CAD and 3D planning: Creation and processing of project, execution and detail plans using building services CAD software.

• Technical calculations: Performing heating load calculations, air volume calculations, pipe network or duct network dimensioning according to the respective specialist area.

• Energy efficiency and sustainability: Participation in the planning of heat pump systems, renewable heat supply, energy-efficient ventilation systems and decarbonisation concepts.

• Tendering and procurement: Preparation of specifications, technical construction descriptions, tender documents and offer comparisons.

• Specialist planner coordination: Coordination of building services planning with architects, structural engineers, electrical planners and other HVAC specialist areas.

• Project coordination: Participation in monitoring project deadlines, planning costs, technical interfaces and quality requirements.

• Execution support: Assistance with site inspections, technical clarifications, commissioning and system acceptance.

• Standards and regulations: Application of relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines and cantonal energy requirements in heating or ventilation planning.

• Digital planning processes: Collaboration in the further development of CAD/BIM methods, technical planning standards and internal project workflows.

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner heating EFZ or building services planner ventilation EFZ.

• Initial professional experience in building services planning or solid practical knowledge from vocational training.

• Expertise in heating or ventilation technology, especially system planning, dimensioning and technical project planning.

• Knowledge of building services CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit or Plancal nova.

• Basic knowledge of relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines and Swiss energy requirements.

• Knowledge in tendering, execution planning and specialist coordination as well as interest in further development towards project management or HF/FH.

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation and collaboration with project participants.
