Public Relations Specialist (M/F)
Mission
Within this role, reporting to our Commercial and Marketing Division, you will actively participate in the external promotion of the brand and its products. You will manage press enquiries and contribute to the design and implementation of communication plans, as well as the organisation of various product launches and events.
Responsibilities
- Be the primary contact for specialised and general press, liaising directly with journalists as well as with our international network of press officers and distributors.
- Develop, maintain and enrich a high-level press contact network (journalists, editors and content creators), ensuring close monitoring of changes in the media landscape.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of press communication action plans and strategies, bringing your knowledge of the media and their expectations.
- Participate in the organisation of events "” openings, product launches, watch fairs, exhibitions, interviews "” and ensure qualitative and budgetary follow-up.
- Create and distribute press content adapted to various digital platforms and channels, consistent with the brand’s universe and codes.
- Organise and coordinate press visits within the Manufacture and ensure post-visit follow-up (press requests, coverage, etc.).
- Monitor, analyse and enhance press coverage to measure its impact and recommend optimisation actions.
Profile sought
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, experience within a watchmaking company is an advantage.
- Degree in communication, public relations or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent general knowledge and strong interest in the watchmaking world.
- Recognised interpersonal skills and excellent ability to interact with a variety of contacts, including journalists, media and external partners.
- Fluency in French and English, other languages are an asset.
- Proven project management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as digital communication tools and platforms (social networks, online media, content management and distribution).
- Analytical and synthetic thinking, combined with great rigour in task execution.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Proactive, initiative-taking and open-minded, combined with strong adaptability.
