Role:
In this role as a data engineering specialist, you actively shape modern data landscapes and ensure that data is available efficiently, securely, and reliably. You take responsibility for building, further developing, and optimising data pipelines and data platforms, ensuring their stability and performance. You are responsible for integrating various data sources and contribute to providing high-quality, consistent, and analysable data. You use appropriate technologies and methods in data engineering to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Through your expertise, you shape standards and best practices in data engineering and make a direct contribution to data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
You advise our clients in the areas of data modelling and data analysis
In this role, you analyse customer needs and derive concrete, data-based solutions
You develop viable solution concepts for different data requirements
As a Data Consultant, you support account management in acquiring new projects
You bring your data expertise into proposals and sales discussions
Qualifications:
- You enjoy working in a team and appreciate direct exchange with clients.
- You have solid SQL and PL/SQL knowledge as well as experience with databases such as Oracle or MS SQL.
- You are characterised by joy in analysing data and a solution-oriented, structured, and analytical working style.
- Ideally, you have experience with Python, dimensional data modelling, and common ETL tools.
- You feel comfortable in environments of DWH, Big Data, and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Snowflake) or want to specifically build up this knowledge.
- You communicate confidently in German both orally and in writing and have good English skills.
