You are technically proficient, enjoy developing practical designs, and want to lead a small team at the same time? In this role, you actively shape products and ensure that customer-specific solutions are efficiently implemented through to production.
Responsibilities:
Development and optimisation of existing and new products and designs
Implementation of individual customer requirements into technical solutions
Creation of 3D designs, drawings, and parts lists
Design of components for efficient manufacturing and assembly
Management and structuring of technical product and CAD data
Coordination between sales, production planning, and production
Further development of design processes and support in their standardisation
Leadership and development of two employees
Qualifications:
Completed training as a design engineer EFZ or equivalent
Solid experience in sheet metal design
Very good knowledge of a 3D CAD system, ideally SolidWorks
Confident understanding of technical drawings and parts lists
Creativity and enjoyment in constructively implementing unusual customer requests
Independent, structured, and reliable working style
Sense of responsibility and enjoyment in team leadership
