Role:
Our client is an experienced IT service provider in the Basel region, supporting companies from various industries holistically in their IT. From the initial consultation to daily operations, solutions are created that really work in the customers’ everyday lives. The team works in partnership, shares its knowledge and gives you space to develop professionally. In this role, you combine customer consulting with technical implementation and are responsible for modern workplace and server environments from concept to stable operation.
Responsibilities:
You advise customers, analyse their requirements and derive suitable solutions
You design well-thought-out and future-proof IT concepts
You procure, install and maintain workplace, server and network infrastructures
You provide applications via terminal server and Citrix environments
You ensure support, maintenance and servicing of the managed systems
Qualifications:
You have completed basic IT training; Microsoft or Citrix certifications are an advantage
Further training as an IT technician HF or a comparable qualification is a plus
You bring solid experience with Microsoft client and server environments
You are familiar with server virtualisation; experience with Exchange and SQL Server is desirable
You have good network knowledge (LAN/WLAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP)
You are familiar with mobile workplace technologies
You are communicative and present yourself confidently and service-oriented to customers
