Project Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Our Rocken client is an internationally renowned architectural firm headquartered in Austria. The company was founded in the mid-1980s and is characterised by a clear architectural language that combines functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics. The office is known for its innovative and timeless buildings, which have a strong presence in both urban and rural areas. Baumschlager Eberle works internationally on projects of various scales, from residential and commercial buildings to cultural and educational institutions. The architects place great emphasis on integrating local culture and considering ecological aspects in their designs.
Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a design-strong personality as a Project Architect: Design to handle demanding and architecturally high-quality construction projects. The focus is on developing precise design and conceptual concepts as well as their constructive and spatial further development. You combine architectural ambition with a pronounced understanding of construction, materialisation, and sustainable building planning. For model-based project work, you use ArchiCAD 3D as the central planning tool.
Responsibilities:
Development of demanding architectural designs and building concepts
Handling projects in early design and planning phases
Development of urban, spatial, and constructive concepts
Creation and further development of 3D building models with ArchiCAD
Elaboration of floor plans, sections, facades, and spatial studies
Development of solutions for materialisation, building envelope, construction, and architectural details
Investigation and evaluation of different design and project variants
Integration of sustainability, resource efficiency, and durable construction principles into the design process
Coordination with internal project teams as well as specialist planners and experts
Preparation of presentation, visualisation, and decision-making documents
Participation in studies, competitions, and demanding design procedures
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies at ETH, FH, TU or university
Several years of experience in architectural design and project planning
Solid design and constructive understanding
Very good knowledge of ArchiCAD 3D
Experience with sustainable architecture, materialisation, and constructive building development is an advantage
Knowledge of Swiss planning processes and SIA phases is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
