Data Engineer - 100%
Within our IT department, you join a committed and expert team that works daily to ensure reliable and high-performing environments. In this key role, you actively contribute to the stability, evolution, and modernisation of our IT infrastructure.
What you do daily
You participate in maintaining and evolving the Data Warehouse architecture, ensuring its robustness, performance, and ability to meet the growing business needs.
You develop, maintain, and optimise data integration and transformation flows (ETL), while ensuring the integration of new data sources into the Data Warehouse. You ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of data throughout its lifecycle.
You design and optimise decision-making data models, notably dimensional models, star or snowflake schemas, as well as ETL processes and SQL queries to guarantee efficient and high-performing data utilisation.
You monitor and resolve incidents related to the Data Warehouse, while participating in modernisation and technological evolution initiatives of the platform, particularly around Microsoft Fabric technologies.
You collaborate with business teams, Data Analysts, and other IT teams to propose solutions adapted to needs and ensure their implementation, while documenting processes and data flows to guarantee their sustainability.
What you bring to the team
You have a higher education degree in computer science or an equivalent field and significant experience in developing and operating Data Warehouse solutions.
You master relational databases as well as advanced SQL, and have solid experience in query optimisation and performance analysis.
You have good knowledge of ETL tools, notably SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), as well as decision-making architectures and dimensional data models (star, snowflake).
You are comfortable with modern development environments and versioning and continuous integration practices, notably Git and CI/CD processes.
You have knowledge or experience with the Microsoft Fabric platform and are interested in technological developments related to modern Data architectures.
