Clerk in Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Role:
The focus of this role is the reliable handling of accounts payable processes. You take care of processing incoming invoices, coordinate payment transactions, and assume further tasks in finance and accounting. You work in a structured, independent manner and collaborate with various internal contacts.
Responsibilities:
You check incoming supplier invoices, take over the account assignment and ensure correct posting
You support month-end and year-end closing tasks and prepare the necessary documents for audits
You prepare payment runs and carry out the necessary controls in payment transactions
You monitor the accounts payable interface, analyse errors and clarify any discrepancies
You manage the supplier master data in Abacus and ensure its currency
You take over deputy duties in accounts receivable accounting during absences, including monitoring outstanding receivables and dunning
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ); further training in finance and accounting is an advantage
You must have practical experience in accounts payable accounting
You are ideally already familiar with Abacus and have a good IT affinity
You communicate very well in German and have good English skills
