Role:
Our client is an internationally oriented private bank specialising in asset management, investment advice, and comprehensive financial services for private and institutional clients. The company combines long-standing banking tradition with solid investment expertise and an individual advisory approach. Responsibilities:
You take full responsibility for complex bank audits – from risk-oriented planning through execution to timely reporting.
You draft meaningful audit reports, discuss findings with management, and prepare recommendations for key decision-makers.
You consistently follow up on agreed improvement measures and assess their implementation and effectiveness.
As the responsible contact person for Panama and the Bahamas, you conduct annual risk assessments, plan audit activities, and coordinate professional exchanges.
You support special audits and projects and take on an expert role for selected specialist topics.
Qualifications:
Your foundation is training in banking, a higher business administration qualification, or a comparable degree; CIA, CFA, or equivalent certifications also fit your profile.
You have several years of relevant experience leading audits in banking, whether in internal audit or at an external audit firm.
You possess very good Microsoft Office skills.
You approach complex matters analytically and solution-oriented, set clear priorities, and act with integrity, independently, and pragmatically.
You are fluent in English and proficient in German.
