For our client, a technically specialised manufacturing company in the field of precision engineering and industrial components, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Designer for Toolmaking & Equipment (m/f/d) 100%. You develop and optimise tools as well as equipment and closely accompany their implementation with the internal toolmaking department and production. In doing so, you also take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas from the concept phase to series maturity.
- Design and detailing of tools for punching, bending and forming processes as well as prototype and assembly fixtures
- Creation and maintenance of 3D models, technical drawings, parts lists and other manufacturing documents
- Support and optimisation of existing tools including technical adjustments, repairs and further developments
- Independent management of tool projects from technical elaboration through manufacturing to testing and series release
- Technical support of toolmaking and production as well as coordination of procurement, schedules and external partners
- Experience in design, ideally in toolmaking, mould making, punching and forming technology or a comparable production environment
- Very good user knowledge of a modern 3D CAD system
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, tool technology and the practical implementation of designs in production
- Independent, precise and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility and technical problem-solving skills
- Fluent German language skills

Tasks

Profile
- Completed training as a designer, polymechanic, toolmaker or comparable technical basic training with further education at HF level- Experience in design, ideally in toolmaking, mould making, punching and forming technology or a comparable production environment

- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, tool technology and the practical implementation of designs in production
- Independent, precise and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility and technical problem-solving skills
