Role:
You enjoy working with numbers, have a good sense for processes, and want to take on responsibility in a modern, dynamic environment? For an innovative Swiss company, we are looking for a committed individual to strengthen the finance team. You can expect a varied position where you not only ensure operational accounting but also actively contribute to the further development of financial processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
You manage the ongoing financial accounting including general and subsidiary ledgers for the Swiss company
You assist with monthly, annual, and consolidated financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER
You support the finance team with the accounting processes of the US company
You ensure the correct handling of accounts receivable, accounts payable, as well as bank and payment reconciliations
You assist with the preparation of VAT returns and with tax filings for the US company
You participate in the annual tax declaration and prepare the necessary documents
You manage the ERP system and contribute to its further development and optimisation
You are the contact person for internal and external parties regarding invoicing and accounts payable questions
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education and further training in finance and accounting
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
You work very confidently with Excel and are familiar with modern ERP systems; Abacus or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are advantageous
You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
