Network Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Design, implementation and administration of network solutions with a focus on Fortinet security, routing, switching and firewall management
Architecture and optimisation of modern IT networks for SMEs as well as implementation of Azure networking and SD WAN technologies in Microsoft cloud environments (M365, Azure)
Security monitoring and analysis of network infrastructures including intrusion detection, threat protection and adjustment of firewall policies
Error analysis, troubleshooting and performance tuning of existing infrastructures to ensure stability and efficiency
Technical consulting of customers as well as collaboration with sales teams in developing customised IT security and network architectures
Qualifications:
Completed IT training in the field of system technology or comparable IT qualification
Several years of practical experience in network management with a focus on routing, switching and firewall administration, preferably with Fortinet solutions
Experience in Microsoft cloud services (Azure, M365) as well as knowledge of Azure networking and SD WAN technologies
Solid knowledge in cyber security, network protection and use of monitoring tools to defend against attacks
Advantageous: certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent credentials
Driving licence category B as well as very good German and solid English skills
