Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

A challenging position for an analytically strong personality with a passion for cyber security. The focus is on detecting and investigating threats, handling security incidents and continuously improving the security landscape.
You analyse complex security events, recognise potential attack patterns and work together with internal and external specialists on appropriate countermeasures. At the same time, you have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of security tools and processes.
Responsibilities:
Detecting, analysing and classifying potential cyber threats and security incidents
Conducting threat hunting and security analytics activities to identify suspicious activities
Handling incidents including documentation, escalation and coordination of appropriate countermeasures
Operating and monitoring security and detection systems as well as analysing the data obtained from them
Supporting the selection and implementation of new security solutions and technologies
Contributing to security projects as well as the further development of policies, processes and organisational measures
Qualifications:
Technical education or further training in computer science, cyber security or a comparable field
Several years of experience in cyber security analytics, threat detection, threat hunting or incident response
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms as well as common attack techniques and security risks
Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP
Practical experience with SIEM and monitoring platforms as well as analysing security events
Very good German skills, strong analytical abilities and a structured as well as solution-oriented working style
