Lawyer / Lawyers Penal System 90%
Exciting tasks await:
- Rules for the enforcement of outpatient and inpatient measures and custodial sentences; implementation of easing of enforcement including conditional releases as well as ordering probation assistance
- Drafting enforcement-relevant decisions; preparing written case summaries; assessment using risk assessment tools; initiating in-depth internal and external investigations (e.g. expert report commissions)
- Supporting offenders during enforcement and optimal preparation for freedom; conducting hearings and status discussions with clients and representatives of institutions
- Close cooperation with various enforcement institutions (penitentiaries, measures centres, clinics); interdisciplinary collaboration with probation specialists
What you bring:
- Successfully completed law degree (lic. iur. or MAS)
- Subject-specific additional training (e.g. CAS Dissociality) desirable or willingness to complete it
- Several years of professional experience and knowledge in criminal law
- High commitment and resilience

Your working environment
At the Office for the Enforcement of Sentences , the institutions and services are united that primarily deal with the enforcement of penal and measure sentences and thus contribute to societal security.
This also includes the Enforcement Services and Probation section, in which court-ordered custodial sentences and criminal measures are enforced. The staff take into account the specific offences, risk potential and development needs of the clientele and keep the main goals of reducing recidivism and social integration in mind.
