Export Sea Freight Forwarding Manager 100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss company in the transport and logistics sector with a national and international focus. Responsibilities:
You lead the export team professionally and further develop the employees.
In day-to-day business, you handle international sea freight orders according to responsibilities.
You personally look after customers and partners and maintain existing business relationships.
You independently prepare and calculate quotations for sea freight services.
You are responsible for checking transport dossiers and ensuring their timely processing.
You monitor invoicing and costs of the shipments handled.
You work on new business opportunities and specifically acquire new customers.
You consistently implement internal quality standards in the area of export sea freight.
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship in forwarding as well as advanced specialised training.
Several years of experience in international sea freight, ideally with leadership responsibility.
Experience in customer care and expanding existing business relationships.
Experience in acquiring new customers and commercial handling of enquiries.
Confident appearance and professional communication with customers and business partners.
Independent working style and strong team orientation.
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
Additional foreign languages are an advantage for international collaboration.
