Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture for a Swiss architectural firm with a diverse portfolio of smaller and larger building projects. You will support the planning team in creating and processing architectural plans, project planning, as well as constructive detail and execution planning. The focus is on precise CAD plan processing with ArchiCAD, implementing architectural concepts into technically correct plan documents, and participating in the relevant SIA planning phases. You actively contribute your expertise to project work and help ensure the quality of architectural planning through an independent and solution-oriented working style.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture and CAD planning: Independently creating and editing floor plans, sections, elevations, and architectural plans for various building projects

• ArchiCAD plan processing: Modelling and updating digital building models as well as 2D/3D plan documents with ArchiCAD

• Project and execution planning: Supporting project management in developing construction project, approval, and execution plans

• Constructive detail planning: Developing and drawing component connections, façade details, wall and ceiling structures, as well as constructive execution solutions

• Planning according to SIA: Processing architectural documents in the relevant SIA phases 31-53, from project planning to realisation

• Building permit planning: Creating and compiling building permit plans, area calculations, and other drawing documents for approval procedures

• Plan and model coordination: Coordinating architectural plans and building models with documents from structural engineers and building services planners

• Plan review and quality assurance: Checking dimension chains, height levels, component dimensions, plan statuses, and constructive details for completeness and consistency

• Technical problem solving: Developing drawing and constructive solution variants in collaboration with architects and project managers

• Plan management and documentation: Organising and updating plan lists, plan revisions, digital project documents, and execution documentation

• Cross-project collaboration: Supporting the planning team in smaller renovation and new build projects as well as larger building projects

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with a federal certificate of competence

• Ideally several years of professional experience in a Swiss architectural office, especially in project planning, detail, and execution planning

• Very good user knowledge of a common architectural CAD programme, preferably ArchiCAD, for 2D/3D plan processing

• Good knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning processes, especially the relevant procedures according to SIA 102, as well as understanding of the construction technical requirements in building construction

• Sound knowledge of building construction, materialisation, and detailed drawing work as well as the ability to translate architectural specifications into precise plan documents

• Independent, structured, and reliable working style with a strong quality awareness, team spirit, and enjoyment in actively solving technical planning tasks

• Good to very good German language skills in spoken and written form for planning coordination, project documentation, and collaboration with internal and external project participants
