Role:

You think about security in architectures rather than in individual products. As a Senior Cloud & Network Security Engineer, you design protection concepts for demanding customer environments and security services. You take technical leadership during critical incidents. At the same time, you shape standards that extend beyond a single project. Your depth in detection, response, and automation counts here.

Responsibilities:

• You design multi-layered security architectures across identity, cloud, network, endpoint, and applications, optimising firewall and WAF concepts

• For customer environments, you build SIEM architectures, connect log sources, and develop detection use cases as well as correlation rules

• You are responsible for the technical development of endpoint detection and response (EDR) as well as XDR and NDR solutions

• Additionally, you lead technically during critical incidents, from analysis through containment to remediation

• Furthermore, you automate security operations and analysis processes using Python, Bash, and APIs

• You also contribute your expertise in architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and demanding pre-sales discussions

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or security architecture form your foundation

• You are thoroughly familiar with enterprise and cloud firewalls, web application firewalls, and modern detection technologies

• You are confident in detection engineering, log correlation, and security monitoring. You derive effective measures from common attack techniques

• You understand protocols such as TLS, DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP/S in detail. You are equally proficient in Linux and Windows security

• Moreover, you are familiar with vulnerability management, hardening, zero trust, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS benchmarks

• You negotiate confidently in German and switch effortlessly to English in technical discussions
