Senior ICT Engineer Azure & Workplace (m/f/d)

Role:
Our client manages the IT system landscapes of various companies and places great value on stable systems, personal customer support, and continuous improvement. As part of the operations team, you are responsible for the reliable operation of modern Microsoft environments and are an important contact person for technical challenges. Your focus is on Azure and Intune, complemented by Windows and Microsoft 365 technologies. You work independently, coordinate the necessary parties, and ensure that the customers' IT remains secure and efficient.
Responsibilities:
Operation and support of customer infrastructures with a focus on Azure and Microsoft Intune
Analysis and resolution of technical issues in 2nd-level support
Support of 1st-level support with more complex faults
Planning and execution of maintenance work as well as implementation of technical changes
Participation in the modernisation and continuous improvement of customer infrastructures
Coordination of support requests with suppliers and internal contacts
Updating system documentation and assuming product-related responsibility
Qualifications:
Completed training in IT/system technology or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure administration
Specialised knowledge in Microsoft Azure and Intune as well as sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows systems
Willingness for professional development and acquisition of relevant Microsoft certifications
Strong service mentality and enjoyment of direct customer contact
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with good teamwork skills
Flexibility for maintenance work outside regular customer opening hours
Very good German skills and good English skills
Driving licence category B
