For our client, a modern and service-oriented municipality in Central Switzerland, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed individual for the responsible role of Head of Finance (80–100%). The municipality combines a high quality of life with an attractive working environment and sees itself as a modern administration with short decision-making paths and a strong service orientation. In close cooperation with authorities and administration, the finance office plays a central role in the sustainable development of the municipality. For this position, we are seeking a professionally skilled, responsible, and independent individual who leads the finance department with foresight and acts as a competent contact person for all finance-related matters.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• Independently organising and managing the finance department and ensuring smooth financial operations
• Managing the municipal accounting according to HRM2 and preparing budgets, financial plans, and annual financial statements
• Conducting liquidity planning, fund management, and ensuring payroll accounting
• Preparing controlling, reporting, and insurance tasks as well as advising authorities and administration

You offer your new employer:

• Completed further education in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in the public sector
• Knowledge of public accounting (HRM2 advantageous) as well as very good IT skills
• Strong service orientation, teamwork skills, high resilience, and communication strength
