Group Leader QC
To manage the increasing number of orders, we are currently expanding our site in Bubendorf with what will become the world’s most modern peptide and oligonucleotide production building. As part of the Bachem Group, you will make your individual contribution to the manufacture of life-saving active ingredients.
We are looking for a Group Leader in an analytical GMP environment. In this varied and interdisciplinary role, the main task is to lead and develop a competent and committed team. Excellent analytical expertise and outstanding leadership skills form the basis for your successful work. As a strategically thinking leader, you actively shape the development of your team. You are responsible for the correct and timely processing of batch releases, validations, and stability analyses. With a particularly strong grasp and process understanding, you are able to embed your own tasks in the broader context and prioritise sensibly in case of scheduling conflicts. Furthermore, you are actively involved in the continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
Your profile:
- Completed scientific degree or comparably solid analytical basic training
- Several years of leadership experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical environment
- Proven expertise in (U)HPLC analytics in a GMP environment
- Strong service mentality and a modern understanding of structures
- Sound understanding of compliance in the analytical GMP environment and the underlying regulations (USP, Ph. Eur.)
- Committed leadership personality who enjoys working with people
- Communicative and well-structured organisational talent
- Role model for a progressive empowerment and innovation culture
- Fluent German and English skills
