Environmental GMP Quality Control Technician

Within the Quality Control department of our pharmaceutical production site in Crissier, you contribute to ensuring that our production environment fully meets the required hygiene standards. To this end, you regularly carry out sampling and testing in the various production areas, including cleanrooms.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Carry out sampling in the production environment: surfaces and air in controlled atmosphere areas, as well as water, vapours and gases
- Perform microbiological sampling related to environmental monitoring (air, surfaces and personnel) in classified production areas
- Conduct non-viable particle counts in classified production areas
- Carry out sampling and monitoring of utility networks: purified water, water for injectable preparations (WIP) and clean steam
- Ensure sampling of gases and compressed air
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment
- Participate in the management of non-conformities, deviations, investigations and associated actions
- Write and review quality documentation (SOPs, work instructions, sampling plans)
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects and cross-departmental exchanges
- Contribute to meetings and teamwork
Professional skills
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a Laboratory Technician in biology or equivalent training
- Proven experience in environmental monitoring of classified areas with a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a GMP environment
- Good knowledge of GMP requirements and microbiological control practices
- Proficiency in common IT tools, especially Microsoft Office
